Why is Digimon more popular in China seemingly than anywhere else?

Idk man, I’d rather not have a cheap Chinese gatcha game in the west and just have quality Digimon world/story games

Always doing 02 cast dirty. The movie had very interesting concepts but it was too much for such a short time. It, at the very least, needed one follow up movie. I don't even think it is bad, it goes way too fast and you don't get any answer for all the things that happen. It just feel incomplete and rushed

The chibi Digimon Adventure artstyle is a collaboration with a Japanese scrabble game called Kotodaman. I have all of them except Mimi and Palmon and Izumi and Tentomon. My gacha luck isn't that good.

I played the digimon mobile games and loved them but they began to die out and I wasted money and cried over my lost digimon because of it. I hope if they do make source code for global, we don't get that repeat again!

At this point, it is silly that Bandai doesn't go globally. Bandai could literally just use AI translate everything English (any language honestly) and ship it. I'm certain digimon fans would download it anyway (it's a mobile game. I couldn't care less about the story being grammatically incorrect) and get random passerbys to download it too. Less money spent, and more money gained at no cost (unless there are costs for app stores to host the app). It's a win to them and to fans, like is there something I'm missing?

my problem with Digimon they are trying weird stuff in their games and when they tried to use the RPG mechanics like Pokemon in Digimon World 3 it wasn't perfect but let's say the DS games used the mechanics better, anyway I hop they drop an English version of the game because the last English mobile game for Digimon was Links and it wasn't that good, anime wise they are good with their designs but games wise the last good game was Cypersleuth and Last Order, I equally love Pokemon and Digimon but Pokemon been doing better in games than anime, I just hope they stop rebooting and make something new like the card game but as a video game

Digimon Tamers Go would destroyed someone need to pitch the idea to them, have the first 3 seasons be the starters and then collect digimon to be on your team (3 slots) basically combine all the seasons into a game but have tamers be the core of it where if you destroyed a digimon can either collect them as an egg or just absorbed their data and used modify cards

I'm a big fan of Cyber Sleuth and would like to see more Stories games get rereleases. The best online games I've played were bootlegs but at least there's potential for a good MMO

I don't understand why they do not do the translation. Surely, the cost of getting the translation done + some minor programming to fix some issues that come up, can not drown out the benefit of reaching a global market. That just seems crazy.

We need digimon from all the series in open world to where you can create a team of your own on quest to achieve the digimon of your desire every generation not just your basic 8 we would all like an love the feeling of creating our own team to play with an build with wial completing quests an finishing story lines its sound like a alot but they already have them its just not for mobile games this would be huge

Honestly im happy that these games will not get a western release. Western players are too entitled and have ruined a lot of gacha games over the years. The constant begging for unjust compensation every inconvenience and begging for free in game currency has got to stop. And if by chance these western players are not having their unrealistic demands met, they ruin the game by insulting the developers and employees online. So yea, i hope western players do not get the game forever. If you want proof that western players are entitled, just look at the western players playing the digimon new century in china server. They seem content in playing the game and have no problema keeping their mouth shut. Truly, if given the chance to complain, they would abuse it just to get free stuffs. Also the japanese version of some games are still in service while english versions have shut down. i wonder why lol😂. as someone who programs games, westerners are the Karens of the gaming world. Just stay in your lane and focus on your own games please
